Who are we? We love jazz! The Band was established on  12 December 2008 and the three founder members looked for other jazzmen to join them. At the beginning of 2009 the whole band (eight musicians) started to rehearse and chose the name the Pilsner Jazz Band. PJB plays melodic jazz –  including, New Orleans jazz, swing, classic-jazz, blues and a little bit of latin-jazz. For us – the jazz musicians – playing music is our great hobby, we enjoy every occasion. The  group's repertoire  is suitable for concerts, parties, festivals or just for background music in cafés. There is  music to suit everyones taste – from old dixieland of Joe „King“ Oliver, Eddie Condon, Louis Armstrong, golden swing-era of Benny Goodman, Count Basie, classic-jazz by Duke Ellington or Ella Fitzgerald, to songs by Joe Zawinul or B.B. King´s blues. The programme is adaptable for any occasion.
