In 10 years of its existence, Pilsner Jazz Band won its place into Czech traditional jazz and swing. This 8-member orchestra focuses on the "jazz golden era", including dixieland and swing, but to add for a little bit of diversity, in the repertoire are included boogie-woogie, blues and some latin-jazz standards. The band is regulary beeing invited to miscellaneous Czech and foreign festivals, but also perform at various concerts, weddings, firm events, celebrations and other occasions. Thanks to the wide repertoire, everyone can find just one likes - from old dixielands from the Joe King Oliver's, Eddie Condon's or Louis Armstrong's time, over through the Benny Goodman and Count Basie golden era, classic jazzmen like Duke Ellington or Ella Fitzgerald over to almost forgotten beautiful melodies.
The seven instrumentalists in usual cast are accompanied by a beautiful singer with a characteristic velvet voice.
PJB recorded three CDs: Old Jazz With New Face (2010), All of Us (2012) and Happy Swingin' (2015).
